Kami no Iki

Kitsune Game Studios next project, Kami no Iki is a classic side-scrolling, platforming game built for the android market. This project makes use of the AndEngine small size and capabilities to bring a high quality side-scrolling game to the Android Market. Reminiscent of old classic platforming, Kami no Iki offers a few key differences to the already loved gameplay mechanics of the genre;

 

    • Story: Developed alongside the game itself, Kami no Iki’s story will take offer a deep new layer to the game that will perfectly compliment the classic style of the game. Taking the player into a world filled with great dangers and a cast of varied characters, the story mode of Kami no Iki will help to engross players further into the game.

 

    • Magic System: Built to help compliment the classic platforming gameplay at the core of Kami no Iki, a unique, evolving and easy to use and customise magic system will be present to help players fight through the course of the game’s stages and give players various ways of combating enemies, bosses and obstacles.

 

    • Unique World: Throughout Kami no Iki, players will be tasked with travelling, confronting and besting a fantastic and varied world through 10 different and unique “zones” that each offer their own different tricks, gimmicks and challenges for players to test their skills against while immersing themselves in the game.

 

    • Multiple Modes: While offering players the opportunity to experience a unique and engrossing story and world to explore, for those of us that simply wish to jump straight into experiencing some classic platforming, a “Survival Mode” will be included to allow players to test their skills against the game. And for some intuitive and strategic gameplay, a bonus “Minigame Mode” will offer players a chance to experience some classic, light RPG fun.

 

  • Multiple Gameplay Preferences: A massive fan of using Tilt controls for your games? Or, perhaps a more traditional touchscreen kind of gamer? Maybe too used to the new XPeria PLAY controls? Whether you’re a fan of one or all of these mechanics, “Project 2011″ offers multiple different control schemes to allow every type of gamer to feel comfortable while playing the game.
