Story

In the near future, humanity is able to make contact with life forms from other planets and galaxies that we once knew  as “aliens”. Working with beings from other worlds, the technology and life quality of humans and earth has drastically improved.

However, recently, a new life form currently unknown to humanity before suddenly appeared in our galaxy. These strange, insect-like beings called themselves “The Swarm” and foretold of how they wanted to expand their empire into our worlds. Giving humanity a choice of joining with them and subverting to their race, or perish against their forces, The Swarm began their conquest of our galaxy.

Naturally opposing the oppressive Swarm, humanity and other life began to wage a war against the insect invaders. Creating an united army of races that wished to combat The Swarm, our galaxy began a long war against these aliens, filling our people with hope.

Controls

Touch the screen to drag the ship left & right to to move, the Ship will automatically fires when you touch the screen.

 

Power-ups

Shield – Projects a shield in front of the ship giving you an extra 5 health.

Mini-gun – Fires an insane amount of bullets at the Invaders for 3 seconds.

Laser Beam – A massive laser beam you just have to drag across the screen to wipe out the Invaders.

Editor

Droid Invaders has a built in Invaders and Ship editor. You can create your own designs and use them in game. To use simply go to the editor and press menu to get access to the tools and the default image of the Invaders and the Ship.  In the free demo you can access and edit a single Invader in the center of the group, In the full version the Invaders are separated into 3 types for editing.

 

Music Player

The music player is only available in the full version of the game, you can select any piece of music on your SD card and it will be played while you play the game.
